A City on the Move – Annual Address by Mayor Malcolm Brodie
Transportation of people and goods is responsible for almost 70% of Richmond’s economic base employment. With the City’s population expected to grow to 280,000 and 40,000 additional jobs to be added to the local workforce by 2041, the movement of people and goods has never been more vital to our quality of life and economic viability.
Hear how the City of Richmond is working to address transportation challenges in Richmond as Mayor Malcolm Brodie delivers his Annual Address. Mayor Brodie will also focus on Council’s major investments in community safety, the imminent opening of the new Minoru Centre for Active Living, as well as other major issues and initiatives expected in the City in the coming year.
Following his keynote, Mayor Brodie will join Clint Undseth, Vice-President Innovation of Stuart Olson Inc. for an engaging fireside chat Q&A.
